Visit from the family

My mom, dad, and sister came in to town last weekend so we took some non-professional family pics. My cousin did a good job but we couldn't expect her to work miracles;) These are some that will NOT be used in any Christmas cards. I'm still debating whether I will send cards out this year given the pictures I have to work with...I actually like this one better than the one my family chose. Trust me, none of them were perfect.

At least Sebastian is smiling in this one.Since these pictures were super casual, we didn't put much thought into the wardrobe. That is why we ended up with clashing plaid shirts.Awwww.

I'm nine months old today!

This month I have been really busy...

mastering my crawling skills

pulling myself up onto everything

climbing onto everything i can

getting into my favorite things: wires, computers, phones, toilet, milo's bowls, etc.

getting A LOT easier for mommy and daddy

waking up every three hours at night

getting very distracted while nursing

cuddling with daddy

getting excited when people come over

chasing and harassing milo

getting over some of my extreme "stranger danger"

going out to eat with mommy and daddy

eating new finger foods like french fries (not too many!), bread, and fruit pieces

constantly trying to get into dangerous situations

being super cute!

We are really enjoying this little guy! I can't believe he is nine months old!

Home

We haven't been up to much lately. Sebastian is just adjusting to his new home. Well, he lived here for his first few months... but I doubt he remembers that.

Finally sleeping in his crib, though he is still far from sleeping through the night. I think we are all finally settled back in.

Happy baby

Since this little guy has become more mobile, he has been much happier. He recently learned how to crawl on his hands and knees and how to pull himself up to stand. This past week alone, I have really noticed a change in his mood and his ability to entertain himself. I realize now that he was kinda a cranky and demanding little baby before... I know there are much more difficult babies out there... but I also know from observing other babies that he definitely hasn't been the easiest!

He's so proud after pulling himself up onto Milo's crate.We are driving back to Provo on Tuesday and Sebastian will be eight months that day! I can't believe how fast he is growing up!
